Saucier Community Plans adopted by the County

Harrison County Board of Supervisors adopt the Saucier Community Plans

Future development in Saucier could buck the trend!

After a year of hard work, debate and a lot of discussion, the Harrison County Board of Supervisors voted to adopt both the Ohio State University Community Plan and the Andrews University Town Plan on the 7th May 2007, a year and a month after the Saucier Improvement Associaten formed.

There is still a lot of work ahead to ensure that these plans are used in the spirit of their intent, but this is certainly a very positive first step towards a successful community development.

If you are interested in helping guide future developments along the guidelines in the plans, please contact the SIA for more information.

I am trying to get some more info on the saucier industrial park. Where is it and where is it likely to go? I would like to live in Saucier but I do not want to live in proximity to an industrial park. chris_kinney@hotmail.com
