Saucier Improvement Association - One Community, One Voice

SIA Minutes September 25, 2006

Meeting called to order at 6:05pm
Attendees: Wayne Jones, Steve Howard, Ron Dougherty, Amy Blankenship, Eli Sauls, Wanda Pate, and Lori Sauls

Treasurer's report was given. $383.04 in account. Steve gave Lori Sauls $787 in Farmers' Market money to be deposited into account.

Industrial Park- Ron feels SIA needs to be source of information between residents and Development Commission. He feels residents have poor opinion of SIA because of rumors that SIA was for park. Dev. Commission stated for public record they would work with SIA.

Amy feels we should have a volunteer meeting as soon as possible. Members discussed doing a toy drive for Christmas for the community. Amy will work on this.

Eli stated we need to take advantage of Saucier Gazette to let community know about SIA.

Farmers Market- Steve staed income has dropped last 2 weeks due to other events along the coast. Steve is looking at getting a nice sign for Farmers' Market. Approval was given to let Steve spend up to $300 on sign.
